Sunny Hill Farm features two exceptional trainers, Joy Parker and Laura Dwyer. Our trainers provide high quality training and instruction to meet the individual needs of the horse and rider. Both of their programs include daily turnout, supplement feeding, blanketing, and coordination of veterinary and shoeing services. Sunny Hill Farm also offers boarding with the option of a daily turnout program.

Joy's training program emphasizes good horsemanship and basic fundamentals of riding as a foundation for any discipline. Her passion for horses and compassion for people give her a unique ability to help riders get the most out of their horses at home and at shows throughout Northern California. Full training, half training, leasing and individual lessons are available.

Dressage
Laura specializes in dressage and believes in creating a harmonious balance between the horse and rider through individualized training programs. With over 30 years of experience and a background in education, Laura uses classical dressage techniques as the foundation of her program. She optimizes the learning curve through positive, informative and patient instruction that always keeps the well-being of both horse and rider first. Having happy horse and rider teams is key to her success. Laura rides her own stallion Laitin at the Prix St Georges level and continues her education weekly with USDF Instructor Certification Faculty Member and High Performance Grand Prix Rider Rachel Satory Saavedra as well as USDF Gold Medalist Jill Munroe. Full training, half training, turnout and lessons are all available at different rates to help accommodate a variety of training and horse care needs.
