Nestled at the base of Mount Diablo and Walnut Creek open space, Sunny Hill Farm is an ideal location for those living in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for a relaxing equestrian environment. The farm is a convenient drive for residents from Berkeley, Oakland, Livermore and surrounding areas.
The horses enjoy two new MD barns with 30 spacious stalls, excellent ventilation including ceiling fans, an automatic fly spray system, hot water at the wash rack, daily stall cleaning, fresh fur/pine shavings 6 days per week and 3 high quality orchard grass or alfalfa feedings per day. Our riders can exercise their horses in any of our three arenas. The outdoor ring features a full course of show-quality jumps. The two covered rings are lighted and one is court size with mirrors. The footing in the rings is a sand/rubber combination and is maintained daily. Some of the farm's other amenities include a round pen, 10 all-weather turnouts, grazing areas, luxurious restroom and riding paths overlooking the local vineyards.
The entire property has perimeter fencing and security gates to ensure nighttime safety. Our beautiful landscaping, established trees and the abundance of wildlife make Sunny Hill Farm so unique. Additionally, the farm is meticulously managed focusing on the overall health care of the horses. With close attention to detail, Sunny Hill Farm provides a consistent routine and program for the horses.
